The Easter Egg is a venerated tradition in all things geek media, and owe their origins to game designer Warren Robinett, who hid his name in a secret room in Atari’s 1978 game Adventure.

Since then, science fiction, fantasy and horror films, television shows, games, comics, novels and everything else has gone through some length to make a small, hidden nod to their viewers and readers.
