New Terra Nova trailer breaks out the hard-core dinosaur drama

The last trailer we saw from Steven Spielberg's dino drama Terra Nova was a bit blurry at best. But now we've got a brand new clip with new dialog and better dinosaurs.

In fact, if you combine the two trailers you can get a great feel for the pilot. Fleeing a crappy future world, a struggling family that is on the brink of collapse finds a new-found love for one another, in the lush green world of the past. We've always wanted a Swiss Family Robinson series, and this may be as close to that dream as we're going to get — but with dinosaurs.

Terra Nova "centers on the Shannons, an ordinary family from 2149 when the planet is dying who are transported back 85 million years to prehistoric Earth where they join Terra Nova, a colony of humans with a second chance to build a civilization."

Look for the two-hour premiere of Terra Nova on Fox in May.

Wait a minute... going that far into the past and doing anything, if following a traditional understanding of temporal mechanics, would completely change/nullify the future you came from.

But that's the point, right?
