We’ve got one more good look at Spider-Man: Homecoming before it comes out, and this latest trailer has a lot of new scenes: a little from the big set pieces and a lot of references to Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.)

This trailer gives us insight into the Spider-suit Tony made, which of course has a talking AI in it and gives Tony the ability to disable features in the suit until he thinks Peter (Tom Holland) is ready. We see that Peter is apparently giving daily reports on his activities to Tony. And we see that Peter is still using the “Stark internship” cover Tony used in Civil War to explain why he’s busy.

Spider-Man: Homecoming will be in theaters on July 7, 2017.

Update: Here’s a new international trailer that, while not having much in the way of new footage, does have a fair bit more of the Vulture’s motivation explained:

Katharine is the former managing editor of io9.

More Stark seems to be a good thing for this character and this movie. The trailers have been promising so far. Tom Holland has definitely impressed me.

This could very well be the definitive version of Spider-Man I’ve been waiting a LONG time for.

Also, the idea behind the suit is awesome and well done. I personally hope Peter has to steal it back and hack/reverse engineer the software to bypass the AI and just basically make it his own.
