Just because Bruce Wayne has moved to a swanky penthouse apartment, doesn't mean he can't still have a cool Batcave. Well, sort of anyway. Here's the concept art for the new "Batcave" in The Dark Knight, which is going on display in Ponte Milvio in Rome this week, along with some props and costumes from the movie. Those lucky Italians get to eyeball the Batpod up close and personal. Click through for another piece of Batcave concept art, which weirdly has a "Dark Knight" logo in the middle of it, plus some Batpod photos.

@Shevek: OK, you're the one generalizing my comments. Taking my comment that "Heath Ledger killed himself over the role" and generalizing it to "Actors kill themselves over their roles all the time" is just as specious as, say, taking "The Columbine gunmen made levels for DOOM" and generalizing it to "All gamers are murderous misfits". One does not logically follow from the other, see?

Honestly, if Ledger did kill himself over playing the Joker — and I still think he did, or at the very least that he slipped into a deep depression that led directly to his death over the role — than that does say a lot more about Ledger than it does about the role. But it does kinda make the movie seem a little more creepy, and that's why I kinda have mixed feelings about seeing it (morbidly curious, but at the same time kinda squicked).
