Neill Blomkamp's Alien Movie

Remember when Neill Blomkamp hinted that his new Alien film would undo the events of Alien 3 and Alien: Resurrection? Well, here he is now saying that actually, he doesn't want to do that at all: "I'm not trying to undo Alien 3 or Alien Resurrection... My favorites are the first two movies. I want to make a film that's connected to Alien and Aliens. That's my goal." [Allo Ciné via Den of Geek]

Green Lantern

Michelle Rodriguez has shot down rumors that she's being considered to play a female Green Lantern. [ TMZ]

Gary Whitta spoke to /Film, and confirmed that the adaptation of Mark Millar's comic about an over-the-hill superhero, Starlight, which he is writing, is still happening:

They sent me the comic and I instantly fell in love with it. The genius of Mark Millar is that he comes up with stories that don't just make great comics but also immediately suggest themselves as big movie ideas as well. Starlight is one of those things that, once you start reading it, as a writer you instantly kick yourself for not having the idea first. It's such a big, relatable idea, and so grounded in the kind of fun escapism of the movies I grew up on as a kid in the 1980s.

Red Sonja

The Red Sonja movie is still happening too, and Christopher Cosmos will write the script. [THR]

X-Men: Apocalypse

Avengers: Age Of Ultron

Joss Whedon describes the climax as something completely unhinged in comparison to the end of The Avengers:

I didn't mean for it to get larger, but the climax that I pitched was completely unhinged and nobody said no, so that's that.

Chris Hemsworth discusses Thor's pessimism about the odds the Avengers will face in the movie:

"I think he openly admits he doesn't think we can win this one," admits Hemsworth. "The threat is so great that all of them are scratching their heads wondering if this it. It's just an onslaught, and it doesn't stop. It's a floodgate, and it could also set in motion is an even bigger threat. I think that's what Thor's stuck on, or where his attention certainly is. An even bigger picture of Thor being from Asgard where he can just say, 'Hang on, there's a whole universe here which is signaling something else.'"

The same article also teases a scene in the movie where Scarlet Witch 'unlocks' the teams worst fears, transporting them to a 'nightmare world' that will help open Thor's eyes to the threat of Ultron. [Marvel]

Once Upon A Time

In the run up to last night's première of Season 4B, Executive Producers Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz dropped in on a variety of sites teasing what's to come on the rest of the season. First up, here they are with Comic Book Resources:

Kitsis: We're going to see people from Robin Hood. We're going to see the Sheriff of Nottingham again.

Horowitz: We'll be diving into some of the Robin Hood mythology.

Kitsis: Barbara Hershey is coming back as Cora.

Emma won't be the only one grappling with questions about who she really is — many of our core characters will face a crisis of conscience in the final batch of episodes. "What we really want to explore is, if you've done a bad thing, can you come back from it, can you become the person you want to be, even if you didn't start out that way? And vice versa," Kitsis teased. "What makes a hero and what makes a villain is a point of view. That, to us, was really interesting as opposed to just black and white, 'I'm good, you're bad,' and 'I'm a villain and I'm coming here to do villain stuff.'"

Entertainment Weekly:

Will we also get to see more of Hook's backstory?

KITSIS: We're going to see a Hook backstory, absolutely. We're going to see him at his most pirate-y.

Will we see any new worlds in the second half of the season?

HOROWITZ: We're going to be seeing some new worlds and some old worlds again.

KITSIS: We're going to see Oz again and we're going to see the Sherwood Forest and a few surprises.

TV Guide:

In what capacity would Eion Bailey be back as August?

Horowitz: You'll see him in [the third episode back].

Kitsis: If you're searching for the Author, they're going to check in with the guy who rode into town with the typewriter.

And finally, you can check out ET Online for a list of 22 teases for what's to come.

Teen Wolf

Shelly Hennig talks about where Malia will go in Season 5:

TVLINE | Malia still doesn't know who her mom is. Is that a focus for her moving forward?

One of the last things said in the last episode of Season 4 was about the Desert Wolf. As an actress, I read that and assumed it would be a part of this next season. I do think it's important for Malia to figure out who that is, and I think we do start to explore that. It's important to the character, so I hope we see a lot of that.
