Someone Lends a Helping Claw in the Final X-Men: Apocalypse Trailer

Trailer FrenzyA special place to find the newest trailers for movies and TV shows you're craving.

The latest look at X-Men: Apocalypse is here, and as per usual, things aren’t looking great for Charles Xavier and his merry band of mutants. That doesn’t mean they’re not going to go down without a fight, though—and they’re taking the fight to Apocalypse with the help of a few familiar faces.

The trailer, which hit the web this morning, is pretty substantial, and we finally get to see a lot of the character dynamics in this movie that were either missing or only just hinted at in the previous trailers. There’s also a lot of focus on what is up with Mystique in this film—and how she’s come back to the X-Men to teach the new generation of mutants to fight Magneto. Check it out below:

There’s so much more of that Cairo battle, too! And even, of course, there’s even the briefest of teases for what has to be the most unsurprising cameo of the year—yes, Wolverine is in this movie, and as always, he’s the best at what he does.

X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters May 27th.

Mystique’s “What?!” at Quicksilver’s parentage reveal made me laugh out loud. I like these new X-Men films. Enough light-heartedness hinted at even when more and more things are going to shit. Will see.

I don’t know why but I cannot stand Olivia Munn though. Hopefully her role is mostly fighting and not much talking.
