NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center used satellite data to stitch together detailed scans of every square kilometer of the planet. And now, they just released an animated version of our spinning globe.

This new "blue marble" image has gotten tons of attention since Gizmodo posted it a week or so ago, and now NASA has reposted high-res versions on the Goddard Space Flight Center's Flickr page.
