It's adapted from a Philip K. Dick short story, it stars Matt Damon and it's written by the screenwriter of Ocean's Thirteen and The Bourne Ultimatum. So when will The Adjustment Bureau get made?

Empire Online reports that Damon has attached himself to screenwriter George Nolfi's directorial debut, which is "loosely" adapted from Dick's 1954 short story "Adjustment Team," in which an average guy discovers that his entire life takes place on a soundstage controlled by mysterious forces. Nolfi and Damon's movie doesn't currently have a studio behind it yet - it's being shopped around this week, with a view to filming this summer for a 2010 release - but given the pedigree of the Bourne team behind it, we should expect to hear some news on who'll be releasing it soon.">Damon Set For The Adjustment Bureau [Empire Online]
