Mass Effect: Andromeda's Combat Will Let You Mess Aliens Up Just About Any Way You Want

The next Mass Effect game will let players embody a new space explorer looking for a new home for humanity. Pathfinders are going to have kick a lot of ass to do it and Andromeda’s going to give you a lot of ways—and squadmates—to do just that.

The newest look at Bioware’s upcoming action RPG offers a deeper dive into combat, showing the plethora of customization options that will let you roll a Pathfinder that’s just to your liking. The option to command squadmates looks particularly handy.

And when you and your crew need to get patched up, you’ll be in the care of Dr. Lexi T’Perro, voiced by Natalie Dormer, who plays Margery Tyrell on Game of Thrones.

I don’t preorder games... Bioware games being the sole exception. Even if the combat isn’t great (DAI) even if the ending sucks (ME3), even if the graphics aren’t the best (DA2) these games always engage me for months. I love their lore, their story but above all, I love their characters and relationship you have with them.
