Some say that parenthood forever changes your sense of priorities. So it's always good to hear about people who still have their proper sense of perspective after reproducing, and who find nothing wrong with leaving their toddler alone in a locked car while they catch a midnight showing of The Dark Knight. Wait, did I say good? I meant bad. Really, really bad.

23-year-old David James Farnham, of Salt Lake City, Utah, pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of reckless endangerment this week, after leaving his 2-year-old son in a locked car last July so that he could watch Christian Bale beat up Heath Ledger without interruption (Okay, okay; the reason he actually gave police was that the baby was asleep when he left, but you know that's what he was thinking). The baby was discovered by another moviegoer, who alerted police. By the time the police arrived, the baby was "crying and sweating," according to the official report, and the temperature in the car had reached 87 degrees.

Farnham will be sentenced January 20th, but is said to be happy to be following in the child endangerment footsteps of his hero, pointing to the number of time Robin has faced near death without the police coming in to save the day.
