Lost's Final Season, Frozen in Black and White

Witness the stark glory of these illustrations, designed to capture the essence of each episode of Lost's final season.

Before this final season started, artist Ty Mattson designed an invitation for a Lost viewing party — and he had so many fantastic ideas, he rendered them as a series of posters. Which are awesome. But now Mattson's going one step further and doing an illustration for each episode of the season, leading up to the finale. Like good photojournalism, they manage to condense an entire experience into one indelible image. Stunning stuff.
