We've got Looper's Rian Johnson live and on io9 taking your questions. Ask him absolutely anything you want about time travel, paradoxes or the difficulties of transforming Bruce Willis' sour face into Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Rian will be online for one hour, and one hour only — so make with the questioning (spoilers ahead).

We only ask that you refrain from asking questions that have already been submitted.

At 1:00 PDT, he will will sign on and tackle as many questions as he can. You know the rules - he's volunteered to drop by the io9 house, so be polite!

One of the biggest surprises of this film was the Rainmaker, the kid with mega-telekinesis who kind of jumps into our gritty time travel story like a refugee from X-Men or Akira. At what point did you decide that you would bring in this additional scifi element, and did you worry that it would be overkill?
