We all know that Big Trouble in Little China is the best movie ever made (in which Kurt Russell is extremely confused). But did you know that director John Carpenter and his band the Coup DeVilles starred in a magnificent music video to accompany the flick? It's true! I owe Jalopnik bon vivant Ray Wert for this knowledge. In terms of 1980s vanity music videos, this is tied with Philip Michael Thomas' angel-dust-tinged R&B anthem "Just The Way I Planned It." Special effects-wise, it edges out "Doctor in Distress."
