Jason Stackhouse is a pivotal part of the True Blood team, thanks to Ryan Kwanten's two greatest assets: his abs and his acting. But can he pull off the role of social outcast/superhero in his latest flick Griff the Invisible?

Here's a collection of stills from Leon Ford's Australian superhero rom-com.

Griff is based off the H.G. Wells' book The Invisible Man, in which one scientist attempts to create the ultimate human race by creating invisible people. Kwanten plays the mild mannered desk jockey who becomes Melbourne's vigilante by night fall. Eventually this strange (but gorgeous) superhero meets another socially awkward girl and falls in love.

"Griff is based off the H.G. Wells' book The Invisible Man"

I'm... what? The storyline seems to have absolutley nothing to do with the book, how is it not only inspired but in fact "Based" on that? Apart from the idea that everything with an invisible man would be based on Well's novel as it was the first one with that topic?

But then "Independance day" is based on "war of the worlds" and "Back to the Furture" is based on "The time Machine".
