New set photos give a huge clue to Doctor Who's season finale. Don't believe that rumor about how Star Wars will handle Harrison Ford's injury. Ridley Scott's next film is The Martian, which could be bad for Prometheus 2. And we now know who Michael Chiklis is playing in American Horror Story: Freak Show. Spoilers now!

One of the options following Harrison Ford's injury was to change the script in order to keep the film on track for a December 2015 release. And now rumor has it that, if they chose to change the script rather than delay, Oscar Isaac's role is being expanded to fill the gap. Of course, Disney has already categorically denied that Issac's role is being expanded. [Page Six]
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
The latest trailer shows the character of Eric Sachs (William Fichtner) talking to someone about "Upping his armor to the next level." A still from the trailer has been cleaned up by someone on 4Chan, and it looks like Oruku Saki is in the film. With the fact that Fichtner's Sachs is Shredder, speculation has begun as to what this means. The Outhousers offer these two options:
One: everyone is wrong and the only Shredder in this is Oroku Saki, which would make things really interesting again given everyone (including us) had pinned Fichtner as the Shredder. Or, two, there are two Shredder's in this movie: Sachs and Saki (and there has been a long-standing rumor that this is the case), with Sachs being a proxy to Saki ala Ra's Al Ghul in Batman Begins (2005).

According to Simon Kinberg, Ridley Scott's going to be shooting The Martian, starring Matt Damon, this fall. Which leaves open the question of when (or even if) Scott will be shooting Prometheus 2, which is supposedly coming out in March of 2016 and had also been rumored to begin filming in the fall. So either Scott is going to make two movies between now and 2016, or someone else will direct Prometheus 2, or it's on hold. [Indiewire]
Elisabeth Moss (Mad Men) and Luke Evans (The Hobbit) have joined the cast of the adaptation of J.G. Ballard's High-Rise as Richard and Helen Wilder. They join Sienna Miller, Jeremy Irons, Reece Shearsmith, James Purefoy, Peter Ferdinando and Dan Renton Skinner. Filming starts in July. [SciFiNow]
Insidious Chapter 3
Dermot Mulroney will star in the third film in the series, which will be directed and written by Leigh Whannell.
Mission Impossible 5
Sources say that Mission Impossible 5 will be the first production ever to film inside the Houses of Parliament. [Metro]
Rob Zombie has confirmed that the film is set during Halloween and offered these details:
All I can tell you is that it's a completely original idea, it's something new. It's not based on anything. I'll start shooting the movie in the fall. So hopefully starting from October, I'll start shooting it. For right now, I'm going to keep the details secret. But it's not based on anything.
... There's a clown thing in the movie, but it has nothing to do with Captain Spaulding. And what is in the movie doesn't look like Captain Spaulding either, maybe the people think the poster does but the movie won't.

American Horror Story
Ryan Murphy's given us a few more details about the new characters for the Freak Show installment:
[Michael Chiklis is] a strong man who's married to Angela Bassett['s character]. He has scenes with Angela and Jessica Lange and [onscreen ex] Kathy Bates. I love the part because it's really written to be quite vulnerable, which is something I think Michael does so well – the strong man who's vulnerable. I'm very excited to see [him] tussle with all those great ladies. And he's really up for it, really excited about it.
According to Colton Haynes, there is always the chance that Sara Lance will return, despite seeming to leave for good at the end of season 2:
I think we'll definitely see Sara back. I'm not sure how soon, but obviously, when she does, we might see different facets of her.
Season 3 will premiere on October 8.
The actor's busy schedule permitting, the show's hoping to bring back Michael Huisman as Cal. [TV Line]
Game of Thrones
Michelle Fairley gave her opinion on the missing Lady Stoneheart, and it certainly sounds like she's discounting the possibility of ever returning:
Catelyn Stark is dead, I'm afraid. I'm sorry to say it, but she's dead. George [R.R. Martin] has written incredible novels, and David [Benioff] and Dan [Weiss] are doing a wonderful job of distilling those books into 10 hours and making a fantastic television series. But there's stuff along the way that has to go — you can't put everything that's in the book on the screen. There are sacrifices to be made along the way. Unfortunately, people might be expecting one thing, but it doesn't happen. It's life.
Wouldn't it be an interesting transition to go from Catelyn the caring mother to complicated villain Margot to stone-cold zombie murderer?
Well, it would certainly be a very easy makeup job! [Laughs] It would be a breeze for the makeup artists. They would take one look at me and say, "Off you go, you don't need any makeup. You look like a zombie anyway!" But, no, it's not going to be.
The show returned to the National Museum in Cardiff to film the season finale (they last filmed there for the "Day of the Doctor"). Shots of props by Leanne Roberts show what looks like Gallifreyan and an inscription that reads "Rest In Peace We Promise." More at the link. Check out the tweets below.

J.R. Bourne talked about what effect the return of Kate has on Chris Argent:
Well, he already is feeling so much anger, frustration, and vengeance, and what does he do with it? He questions whether or not to return to Beacon Hills, but when it becomes quite clear that she's back to cause trouble, he finally returns in order to protect those that can't protect themselves. He still supports the code. He's back to support the people that were there for his daughter and for him.
Whether he comes back with this idea that he's going to get rid of her once and for all—that's the initial driving force for him. It's somewhere for him to direct that anger and that hurt he has. But yeah, there's some great stuff that goes one between them.
He previewed a little bit more of season 4, saying:
We've got this benefactor and we've got a Dead Pool list so it's a little less of—we don't have a kanima we don't have a nogitsune, but we've got something a little more grounded in reality. We've got financial constraints, we've got issues that the families are all dealing with, and we've got this person who created a list and plans to rid Beacon Hills of all the supernatural. It's a very stressful season, but there's a lot of that exciting stuff happening.
Speaking of Kate, here's Jill Wagner on returning to the show and how she sees Kate as having changed:
I think that Kate is different and she's similar. She's different in the fact that she is ... In Season 1, we saw this confident, very much in control of being a bad girl that she was — the sociopathic killer that she was. You have to admit, she was in control of that!
This season, she's not in control. She's a mess. She's kind of ... She is the one who needs something in this season, which is totally opposite of the last season, when she was in control and it was all about chasing what was to her the bad guys. I don't know how bad, in Kate's mind, she was, because she thought she was doing something good. She's still a killer, but I have to have empathy, I have to find the empathy with her to love her.
But the one thing she is still the same is she still has this extreme focus on what she's going after. And I think that's both the good thing about Kate and her downfall. She will not stop until she gets this. She's very much in need, she has a focus, and I think that if she is to accomplish what she's trying to accomplish, it could be really, really bad for a lot of people.
