We're entering the end of this years io9 March Madness: Movies vs. TV. Today, the Here and Now; Other Times, Other Places; Epics; and Episodes regions will all get champions. This means a battle of titans!

Monday's competition brought a sad end to this year's greatest dark horse: Jurassic Park. From a 14-seed to the sweet sixteen — the dinosaurs can be very proud. Ultimately, it fell to Indiana Jones, which will face the Marvel movieverse today in the Episodes regional. The Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy themselves put an end to the possibility of a Star Trek vs. Star Trek final.
In the Epics Regional, Star Wars handily defeated the Dark Knight, while Peter Jackson's Tolkien movies had a bit of a tougher time with Blade Runner.
TV got very interesting. Stargate lost to Doctor Who by more than 2,500 votes. But things got much closer for the X-Files vs. Twilight Zone battle. Will the recent news of its return give the X-Files a bump going into today's contest? We now have an inadvertent "battle of the resurrected" coming!
The Enterprise and its friends defeated Battlestar Galactica, leaving Star Trek to take on Game of Thrones — itself proof that Firefly is not unconquerable.
As always, more information can be found in the first post and polling will stay open until midnight tonight.
Friday, March 27: Final Four
Monday, March 3o: Championship Round
