The io9 Book Club meets every month to discuss a book, and then the author usually joins us for a chat. This month, we're reading Jo Walton's Nebula-winning novel Among Others (we reviewed the book here). We'll meet June 26th to discuss the book. Watch for a post that day announcing the book club, and jump into comments for discussion. There's still time to read the book, too, so get moving!

We're hoping Walton will join us later in the week for a discussion.

DISCUSSION

I'm halfway through it. I think anyone who has retreated from reality into books can relate to the story. It may have succeeded in an inadvertent way in that I want to finish it up so I can read more Ursula K. Le Guin. By good fortune (or magic) I had just finished The Lathe of Heaven right before I started Among Others (in which it is frequently mentioned). Now The Word for World is Forest is taunting me on my Kindle Fire.
