In The Last Jedi, Is Finn Wearing Poe's Outfit from The Force Awakens?

From the very first moment that the world saw Finn meet Poe Dameron in The Force Awakens, some Star Wars fans glommed on to the (very plausible) idea that there was a spark of attraction between the two handsome rebels. Aside from a few furtive glances in the movie, though, there’s been no real evidence supporting the Finn-Poe ship... until, perhaps, now.

Today, Vanity Fair’s array of Star Wars covers have given us a glimpse of many things we’ll be seeing in The Last Jedi. Captain Phasma, freed from that trash compactor! Kylo Ren’s fancy new scar! The fact that Rose Tico will understand the importance of smiling while rebelling! All of these things are absolutely fantastic, but, take a second to check out Finn’s fresh threads. Notice anything familiar?

We already know that in The Force Awakens, Poe let Finn keep his jacket both as a token of friendship and because the jacket looks damned good on Finn—Poe said as much himself. While it’s possible that both Finn and Poe (separately) do their clothes shopping in the Star Wars equivalent of H&M where clothes are mass-produced in space, it’s also possible that Finn’s outfit looks similar to Poe’s outfit because it is Poe’s outfit that he, you know, borrowed after their last sleepover.

Remember, folks, all things are possible in space.
