In The Institute, James Franco Is a Bad Therapist With a Worse Mustache

It’s classic horror set-up: person who suffers trauma goes to a place that’s supposed to make them better. But once they get there, they find themselves face-to-face with the horrifying discover of... James Franco’s goofy-ass mustache.

Out on March 3, The Institute centers on Isabelle Porter—played by Allie Gallerani—a young woman who checks into the Rosewood Institute after being overcome with grief after her parents’ deaths. Franco plays Dr. Cairn, a doctor who employs sadistic, unorthodox methods to try and “cure” his patients. Directed by Franco and Pamela Romanowsky, this looks like it could be gothically cheesy and fun.
