Last night, comic author Brian Michael Bendis posted some heretofore obscure artwork by illustrator Phil Jimenez. This wasn't just any doodle — this was a concept sketch for a scuttled Justice League-meets-the-Transformers crossover series that Jimenez pitched with IDW Publishing editor Chris Ryall.

Sadly, this project was canned because of DC Comics' New 52 relaunch, so we can only dream about Wonder Woman's transforming invisible she-jet and Green Lantern Optimus Prime.

It's a good thing they cancelled it, because it would mean that the DC and Marvel universes are actually one in the same (since there was already a Spider-Man/TF crossover many moons ago). That for certain would signal some sort of world-ending apocalypse, and I just don't have time for that right now.
