Storms are remarkably beautiful. I love watching them from my house^^

But I have to ask...

Why do we not have any technology to try and harness lighting bolts?
There's a massive amount of power per bolt, and hundreds of bolts per storm, so why can we not use that to power our cities for with clean energy?

Is there some complication in the bolts energy that prevent us? Have we even tried or been able to try? If so, what was the problem? If we haven't, why the hell not??
