Harrison Ford's Advice for the Next Generation of Star Wars Stars

Han, Luke and Leia may be returning for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but they’re passing the torch onto a new generation of heroes. Speaking at San Diego Comic-Con after bringing the house down at the Star Wars panel, Ford had some words of wisdom for the new cast: “Life as they knew it is no longer possible.”

In the brief clip above, Ford discusses speaking with the young cast—specifically Daisy Ridley—about the momentous change Star Wars will bring to their lives and careers:

Your life will change, and you will get used to it. And you will be by turns happy, and delighted, and employed, and then you’ll wonder ‘what the hell happened?’ every once in a while. Because you turn from... the natural state of an actor is to observe life around them, and now you have to figure out how to do that when all anybody’s looking at is you.

Wise words indeed.
