A seagull does so much more in a day than you do

A day in the life of a Dutch seagull, as revealed by GPS.

The bird covers 332 kilometers (over 200 miles!) in a single day, soaring over land and sea alike. According to commenters over on reddit, the narrated version of the video (which appears below, in Dutch) explains the bird is collecting food with which to feed a trio of chicks in her nest (which likely explains why her start and end point are the same). Around the 40-second mark, you can see her head out to sea, where she spends some time flitting about just off the coast. This time was apparently spent pilfering easy meals from a small fishing vessel.
