Finally, an artist who honors the wonder of Robot Jox, the 1990 robo-gladiator movie by Stuart Gordon and Joe Haldeman. Artist Robert Simons captures what made the robot battles so incredible, in their massive robotic brutality.

According to a comment on his DeviantArt page, Simons did the Robot Jox art for a class in Viscom software. He also says he almost did some concept design work for the Transformers movies — and based on this work, we wish he had. More pics are at these links.
