I have a problem with the last Helix video which comes from knowing more about what she is talking about than the actor and writers. She says she is 32 and has been in her position ever since she finished her Oncology fellowship. That would be a few months. She could have finished as young as 30 if she did a two year fellowship, but if she is doing predominantly research than she most likely did more than three years. She didn't mention any Doogie Howser like grade-skipping or anything so I assume she didn't go through any faster and I don't think Yale has a six year college/med school program. She didn't mention going through that either. She probably spent more than four years in medical school in an MD/PhD program since she spent her "senior" year doing research. The last two years of medical school are all patient care and if she missed half of that she would not have the required clinical experience to graduate.

Forty two would be believable. Thirty Two, not really unless there is more explanation. I didn't do any of the stuff she is talking about, I am young for my class, I never took a year off at any time, and I finished my three year heme/onc fellowship four months before my thirty second birthday.
