Wanna see what Benedict Cumberbatch could look like as new member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe Doctor Strange? Spoiler alert, he has a mustache.

Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson has been tweeting out beautiful old comic panels from past Doctor Strange works, concept art inspiration-type images and other things that may directly influence his movie—but never something this revealing. Today, Derrickson revealed the first image (or concept image or fan art) of Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, with the quote "Strange but not a stranger," from the Talking Heads song "Burning Down the House."

While we can't verify that this is an official image, we couldn't find this anywhere else as fan art on the Internet. So we're leaning towards the idea that this is concept art that would most likely be pinned up in Derrickson's movie war room, where images of inspiration and the plot get hammered out. That's a wild guess, but here's the image.

Lovely, no? We gotta admit, we like seeing the projection of the cosmos across Cumberbatch's face. It's two great tastes that go great together.

Still not a fan of this casting... at all.
