After disappointing wolf zoot suits and panic over song cuts, Disney has finally released the very first footage of the most important part of their Into the Woods movie adaptation: people singing the songs from the musical.
It's just a taste, a tiny, tiny taste. But when Meryl Streep starts in with, "Stay with me the world is dark and wild," I got pretty excited. Also in this footage, Emily Blunt as the Baker's Wife canoodling in the woods with Cinderella's Prince. And now that we know that "Any Moment" was NOT cut; I'm assuming that is that scene.
However, the scene with Johnny Depp in wolf fedora howling is weird and I'm not sure if I'm ever going to get on board with that. At least we have Meryl.
