Mark Wahlberg doesn't pull his punches these days, and he's decided to come forward and explain just why his Planet of the Apes movie wasn't as good as James Franco's. But who does he blame?

In an interview with MTV Wahlberg went after Fox for rushing the script and production:

"I haven't seen it yet, but I heard it was pretty damn good. Well, ours wasn't. It is what it is. Ours wasn't. They didn't have the script right. [Fox Studios] had a release date before [Tim Burton] had shot a foot of film. They were pushing him and pushing him in the wrong direction. You have got to let Tim do his thing."

Ah well, at least he doesn't seem too bent out of shape about it. Here's the full interview where he continues to talk about working with Burton on the Apes picture.
