And punching. The road to Civil War also involves a great deal of punching.

If you’ve shared some of our concerns that sometimes it feels like Marvel is escalating to its ginormous comic book storyline (and sort of hot mess) that is Civil War in its Marvel Cinematic Universe a bit too quickly, then this seven-minute long supercut from fansite MCUExchange should go a long way in assuaging some of those concerns.

Drawing from tons of different Marvel films, and even TV shows like Agents of SHIELD and Jessica Jones, this collection of clips highlights the ideological conflict around the two main heroes of the movie-verse: Tony Stark, a man plagued by his past sins and a need to protect the world (even from himself), and Steve Rogers, who just wants to be a hero... and save his BFF Bucky Barnes in the process.

It’s lengthy, but well worth a watch, especially for a moment of clever editing that blends a certain line used in both The First Avenger and Civil War into one.
