I don’t think I’ll ever forget the first time I saw the throne room scene in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. It’s expertly crafted to mess with expectations, and then builds to a level of intensity and excitement that’s almost unparalleled in Star Wars films. That excitement even translates to 16 bits.

Mr. Sunday Movies is back at it again. Last month, the YouTuber released the final battle in the film in 16 bits and, today, he’s posted the throne room scene. And it’s just rad. Check it out.

Watching that, not only do great memories from the film rush back, but those Super Star Wars, 16-bit memories rush back too. This scene would be so much fun to play in a game. And while we can’t, this is pretty damn close.
