Trailer FrenzyA special place to find the newest trailers for movies and TV shows you're craving.

It’s not much, but this is it: our first tantalizing look at whats in store for Matt Murdock and friends in the second season of Daredevil. Elektra! The Punisher! Guilt! Darkness! The suit! It’s all here.

Yes, this trailer—first shown at this weekend’s New York Comic Con but officially released today—may mostly be a recap of the first season of the show (as if we frankly need an excuse to see more of it again, really), but the last 30 seconds are all-new footage from the currently filming second season. And hoo boy, are they tasty. Matt Murdock is still feeling guilty about his work as the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen, recounting his sins to Father Lantom again—but then we get to see snapshots of what’s to come: Daredevil back in action. A concerned Foggy, surrounded by policemen. Claire Temple. Elodie Yung’s Elektra, gearing up in a red face mask. Karen, poring over X-rays.

And then... the Punisher himself, walking through a hospital corridor. It’s not much, but by god it’s enough to send chills down your spine. We can’t wait to see more!

Daredevil returns to Netflix in 2016.

UPDATE 5:00: The trailer has returned! Meanwhile, we’ve got some screencaps of the new footage for your perusal below:

Matt, Karen, and Foggy all sit in church, as Matt tells Father Lantom that he still feels guilty about becoming Daredevil.

Lantom counters: “Guilt can be a good thing. It’s the soul’s call to action.”

Claire Temple, being all nurse-y at night, But not maybe not as Night Nurse, if rumors about Doctor Strange are to be believed.

Foggy and some police officers, looking worried about something.

Elodie Yung, masking up as Elektra Natchios!

I wonder who fired that shotgun shell?

Karen checks out a rather ominous X-Ray of a skull.

... and then The Punisher himself! Sure we don’t get to see Jon Bernthal from the front, but we know it’s him thanks to set pictures of the actor in action as Frank Castle.

We’ll bring you the full trailer as and when Marvel and Netflix make it available again.
