Eddie Redmayne Shows The World His Adorable Audition For Bilbo Baggins

Eddie Redmayne stopped by the The Graham Norton and revealed this interesting little tidbit about his audition for the role of Bilbo Baggins in The Hobbit. It's just downright adorable.

There's actually a whole heap of adorable in this clip — from Redmayne confessing his desire to get into the Harry Potter movies, "There was a whole family of Ginger people and I thought that somehow I might be a part of that at some point. It never happened," to Anna Kendrick's response to the Bilbo voice. It's lovely; everything about Redmaybe is lovely and we cannot wait to see him as a Stargate-like villain in Jupiter Ascending.

Our life has been substantially improved due to our discovery of Graham Norton. We owe it all to BBC America scheduling him right after DOCTOR WHO, for which we had our DVR record a few extra minutes. It didn't take long for us to start recording Graham Norton as well after seeing a few minutes of his show.

The format — typically all the guests come out at once, and they're all drinking adult beverages of their choice during the show — lends itself to the show going right off the rails while Graham chuckles that weird laugh of his. It's impossible to predict what exactly might happen.

One of my favorite moments was watching Matt Damon and Bill Murray getting hammered on champagne on air. When Damon says "This is the most fun I've ever had on a talk show!" he's not kidding.
