Screw Dredd, watch the entire fan-made movie Judge Minty right now

Who needs sexy Karl Urban's scowl when you have Judge Minty? The retired Judge who would rather die in a blaze of justice than retire now has his own movie. And it's awesome.

We've been excited about Judge Minty for months. Here's your chance to watch it!

The film based around the character named Judge Minty (originally created by John Wagner and Mick McMahon). Minty is forced to retire from his days of sentencing and kicking ass, because he was deemed too nice. Instead of moving to Mega-City One's version of Florida Minty chooses "The Long Walk" into the forbidden radioactive wasteland of Earth. Judge Minty picks up on this retired Judge's journey into no man's land.

Dredd is not to be messed with, even in jest.

Seriously, I hate everyone for not seeing that movie, and for not making it the biggest hit of the year, as opposed to a complete box-office flop (and thereby depriving us of the inevitable Block Wars and Dark Judge sequels to come). Even the 3D was fantastic, in that it mostly got out of the way, but was occasionally quite cool. Finally, the kind of adaptation everyone clamors for comes along, that's faithful without being sycophantic, violent to the point of a hard-R (as a Dredd movie should be), action-packed without numbing the senses, unrelenting in its moral ambiguity and troubling fascist overtones, devoid of shitty comic relief...and nobody bothers to watch it. Hell, even the score was amazing!

Also, if anyone talks about Dredd ripping off The Raid: Redemption, I'm calling in the ABC Warriors.
