Announced today at New York Comic Con, Disney XD’s going to premiere a new animated show called Marvel’s Spider-Man in 2017.

“But what about Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man? Isn’t that a Spider-Man cartoon already on Disney XD?” Yes, yes it is. Ultimate Spider-Man will have its series finale in January, with Spider-Man stopping Doctor Octopus and the Superior Sinister Six from destroying all the superheroes in New York.

Marvel’s Spider-Man is going to start the story all over again, telling, according to the press release, the story of “an unsure (but courageous) teen who has to figure out how to be a Super Hero from the very beginning.”

Yes, again.

And yes, there’s also still an animated film directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller (The LEGO Movie) in the works. Plus the live-action Spider-Man: Homecoming coming from Marvel. Spidey’s going to be everywhere now.
