Forget the car-sized hail. It looks like it might actually start raining cheese in the climate-controlled near-future of Geostorm.
Set during a time when a network of satellites help stave off extinction-level natural disasters, Geostorm shows what happens when that technology malfunctions. It’s going to be a disaster flick centered on mankind enduring the worst weather ever, all because we were foolish enough to think we could play Thor.
Geostorm will star Gerard Butler and Ed Harris and is directed by Dean Devlin, the writer/producer behind Independence Day. It’s due out in October.
