This week in the world of cartoons, Darth Maul, Savage Oppress, and Death Watch join forces to eliminate Obi-Wan Kenobi! Really, that should be enough. Electro also appears on Ultimate Spider-Man, and we might be seeing the end of Discord on My Little Pony.

As always - minor spoilers ahead!

Star Wars: The Clone Wars – "Point of No Return"

Darth Maul & Savage Opress are back! The brothers learn that the group Death Watch shares their mutual hate of Ben Kenobi, leading to an underworld team-up.

Check out a nice homage to the opening of Aliens in this clip.

The Mandalorians of Death Watch semi-interrogate Maul in the second clip, leafing to Darth Maul elaborating on the first brothers of the Sith.

Ultimate Spider-Man – "Electro"

Spider-Man battles a jittery new incarnation of Electro in this episode, an Electro that can fly and command ATMs. Peter Parker should befriend him to solve his money problems, but instead, they fight.

Ultimate Spider-Man has moved to Monday nights on Disney XD this season - check your DVR!

Edit: The special one-hour primetime season two premiere was on Monday, January 21 (7:00 - 8:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney XD and new episodes will premiere Sundays at 11:00 a.m., ET/PT on Marvel Universe on Disney XD.

Green Lantern: The Animated Series – "Prisoner of Sinestro"

Sinestro's presence is always a little odd, but Earth's Green Lantern, Hal Jordan, takes it in stride.

What happens with Sinestro starts misbehaving? We find out this week.

Young Justice: Invasion – "True Colors"

This episode sends Robin on an undercover field trip/mission to LexCorp as he attempts to learn the connection between Luthor and the Reach.

Snacks are included on visits to the Reach facility according to this clip.

Adventure Time – "Davey"

Do you slay too many dragons and have too many fans? Pull a Finn and get an alter-ego.

In this episode, Finn becomes "Davey Johnson" — a bald, middle-aged man — and wanders through the Candy Kingdom in peace.

Regular Show – "Firework Run"

What happens if you set off all of the town's 4th of July fireworks early?

Muscle Man finds out, leading him on a clandestine mission to acquire cheap fireworks.

Tron Uprising – "Rendezvous"

In this episode, we get to see a little bit of Beck's personal life, with Beck taking Paige on a date. Their date involves H.A.L.O. jumping, mixing a nice bit of romance and adventure.

A new episode, "No Bounds", airs Sunday night around midnight on Disney XD.

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic – "Keep Calm and Flutter On"

Discord is, well, giving the ponies a little too much discord, and Princess Celestia decides to put an end to his mischievous nature.

Fluttershy steps in, however, and attempts to reform Discord.

You know what cartoon I've been way-impressed by?

The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle cartoon. It's been amazing. The voice-acting is fun, and not annoying. The writing is sharp, and the animation is fluid and fun to watch. And I love all the silly animation jokes.

I've been a huge fan of the old, super-violent black & white Eastman & Laird TMNT comics, since I was a little kid, and this is literally the best adaptation of that series, that I've ever seen. It more than makes up for the horrors of the 90's cartoon series.
