Could we really get a sequel to The Iron Giant? Lucy Lawless discusses her Ash vs Evil Dead character. An unlikely character will take the lead in STAR Labs on The Flash. Plus, set footage from The Force Awakens, and more teases for Maisie William’s Doctor Who character. To me, my spoilers!
Josh Brolin basically says that Thanos will not be showing up for the big Marvel Studios dust-up film:
I don’t know which one I’m in. That’s a Kevin Feige question. I know the trajectory of what they’re doing, but I don’t know exactly which one I’m in.

Lucy Lawless briefly discusses her character, Ruby—confirming that she is the daughter of original movie character Professor Knowby:
She’s a badass bitch and she’s stalking Ash Williams with a big chip on her shoulder, and a hot obsession. … She believes he’s responsible for the Deadite plague, and in my mind responsible, speaking as my character, for the death of my father back when – Professor Knowby back in the “Evil Dead” movies. He was the holder of the Necronomicon, so she has an ancient chip on her shoulder.
Lincoln A. Castellanos teases what’s in store for Tobias in the show’s future:
I have my ideas of where Tobias could go (from after the pilot). Certainly, there is great potential for for him to evolve, both psychologically and physically, and many other ways. But perhaps I should hold off on answering that in more detail….things could get a little scary for me (and Madison) in this next episode.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Producer Andrew Kreisberg says that in the show’s second season, Team Flash will no longer be led by Harrison Wells/Eobard Thawne, but instead the unlikely option of Iris West:
Iris slides into [the role] very naturally. She’s a born leader. One of the best things in the premiere is Barry decides that he wants to work alone because he doesn’t want to risk anyone else’s lives, and Iris is really the one who gets the band back together again. She’s the only one who can stand up to Barry.
Here’s a brief new teaser for the show, revealing Barry with blue-tinted speedforce powers:

Next year we might do a fall American Horror Story and a spring. We have to decide.
A few new cast photos have been released—find more at the link. [Spoiler TV]
