We've been dreaming of Danny Boyle's much talked-about return to the 28 Days Later zombie franchise for years. But maybe now he's finally ready?
In an interview with IGN, Alex Garland (director of Ex Machina and 28 Days Later screenwriter) revealed that, at the very least, Boyle is having conversations about the project, and he may even have an idea.
"We've just started talking about it seriously...We've got an idea. Danny [Boyle] and [producer] Andrew [Macdonald] and I have been having quite serious conversations about it so it is a possibility. It's complicated. There's a whole bunch of reasons why it's complicated, which are boring so I won't go into, but there's a possibility."
We will take whatever we can get from Garland and Boyle. The two have proven to be a good pair before, so let's hope it all happens again. SOON.
