October is here, and unlike some of the past years there are going to be lots and lots of horror films hitting theaters. The first comes this weekend with The Final Girls–and the filmmakers have a seriously awesome poster out to celebrate.

The below poster was done by gruesome artist Alex Pardee and was specially overseen by Gallery 1988 and the film’s director, Todd Strauss-Schulson (A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas). It’ll exclusively be available at New York Comic-Con and we’re very happy to debut it.

To get one of these limited edition posters, follow @Galleries1988 and @straussschulson on Twitter during Comic-Con for more info.

The Final Girls opens limited on October 9 and it’ll expand later this month. Basically, it’s Scream meets Last Action Hero as Max (Taissa Farmiga) gets sucked into an popular, old-school horror movie that stars her late mother (Malin Ackerman). Watch the trailer here. The supporting case includes Silicon Valley’s Thomas Middleditch and Arrested Development’s Alia Shawkat.
