The live-action series adaptation of the comic book Powers, created by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming, finally has an air date. And the first episode will be free!

As PlayStation Network's first original series, Powers will premiere on March 10th. The pilot episode will be free for one and all, but every episode after that will cost ya. Unless you're already a PlayStation Plus subscriber; if you are a member, you can get the entire season for free.

The series stars District 9's Sharlto Copley and Susan Heyward, who play two detectives in the "Powers" division. Their job is to handle all police cases that deal with superhuman abilities. Bendis is still attached to the series as producer, while Charlie Huston and Remi Aubuchon (Falling Skies) are the Powers showrunners.
