James Cameron is reportedly opening up a new base of operations at the MBS Media Campus in Manhattan Beach. Early rumors report that he will rent up to a sixth of the lot's total 580,000 feet of soundstages and office space. MBS was most recently used for the Asgard sequences in Thor. Newly announced General Zod portrayer Michael Shannon candidly discussed how he got the part. He says Zack Snyder wouldn't show him the script, but he gave him a scene-by-scene description of the movie and then had him test with Superman actor Henry Cavill. Three actors are reportedly in line for some minor roles. The most familiar name is probably that of Burn Gorman, who played Torchwood's occasionally lovable asshole Owen Harper in the first two seasons. No word on who he would play, but "Rescue Me" costar Daniel Sunjata is reportedly in talks to play a special forces operative, while Diego Klattenhoff has reportedly been offered the part of a rookie cop.
