It is super eerie. I’ll be interested to see what music they use in the new version. The trailer is yet another one of those “slowed-down recognizable pop song in the background” dealios but maybe the show itself will do something more interesting.

It hasn’t aged well, that is definitely true, but to me it’s a little more entertaining than Jamie Lloyd running around screaming “Rachel! Rachel!” in 4 and 5. I didn’t like the Zombie ones so much but was glad to see Danielle Harris get to play a more dynamic character in those.

I really liked Butcher’s Block at the time (Rutger Hauer...so good) but I just went back and re-watched the whole thing, and I agree that Candle Cove was the best. They were all so good though. No-End House really holds up too and Dream Door just goes off the rails in such a unique, surprising way. Read more
