Oh, also another thing — the thing that strikes about Redshirts is how good natured it mostly is. Nobody's really a terrible person, and everybody is trying to be good. It's just the situation that's bad. What do you think is the appeal of satire where everybody is basically moderately decent, as opposed to barbed satire where people are monsters?
