It doesn't matter whether you are or not, because it's coming in 2017. The film will be made and released by Hasbro's new Allspark Pictures label, which is also doing the live-action Jem and the Holograms movie. Hmm... can anyone say "Hasbro Cinematic Universe"? (I kid, I kid.)

According to Variety:

Hasbro Studios will take the reigns of "My Little Pony," producing and financing it in-house. It is in discussion with studios to release the film "on the broadest possible number of screens," said Stephen Davis, president of Hasbro Studios and global entertainment and licensing for Hasbro Inc. ...

Joe Ballarini, who wrote Fox's "Ice Age: Continental Drift" is penning the script for the "Pony" pic, while Megan McCarthy, who produces and has written for the series "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic," and straight-to-home video "My Little Pony: Equestria Girls" films, will serve as co-executive producer on the theatrical movie.

I have nothing snarky to say about My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic or its many fans, although I am not looking forward to another million news reports in 2017 on what "Bronies" are and asking if they're a danger to civilized society. I am, however, exceedingly grateful this news has allowed me to post on of the greatest internet videos of all time. (NSFW language, so turn it up.)
