Having done such a great job with the viral marketing leading up to X-Men: Days of Future Past, it appears Fox is continuing the job in advance of DoFP's DVD and Blu-ray release with this mysterious video. But why are they bothering?

According to the YouTube description, this is ostensibly a video from an anti-mutant group named Tandem, which is "trying to frame mutants for all of the world's problems." The video has been stolen by a pro-mutant group named M-Initiative and released to... expose Tandem, I guess? Except all the pro-mutants have done is posted the propaganda video to YouTube, which I assume Tandem was going to do anyways. It's not really "exposing" Tandem as much as "doing their work for them."

It's part of a more elaborate campaign that includes the two groups' websites and more. Anyways, none of this makes me want to buy the X-Men: Days of Future Past Blu-ray due out on October 15th more than, say, a commercial which explains what extras the disc contains would have done, but whatever.
