Star Trek: The Animated Series only ran from 1973-1974. But, that was enough time for Filmation to produce this brief message on behalf of the Keep America Beautiful campaign. Behold, the terrible tragedy that is the "Romvian Pollution Belt" — unlike the spaceship debris you sometimes see in science fiction in the wake of battles, this is just space junk left by the "Romvians" due to a lack of consciousness about pollution. The makers of this TV spot probably didn't know how ahead of their time they were.
