A small study shows that dietary cocoa flavanols — also known as molecules in chocolate — reverse age-related memory decline in people aged 50 to 69. But before you guzzle M&Ms, know that volunteers had to consume "staggering amounts" of the brain-boosting compounds. What's more, most chocolate bars have flavanols removed during manufacturing.
