What happens when you ask hundreds of Star Wars fans to remake short segments of Episode V—with toys, animation, and amateur actors—and cut them together into a single film? You get The Empire Strikes Back Uncut, a sometimes silly, sometimes remarkable feature-length tribute to the film.
This is, of course, the sequel to the Emmy-winning Star Wars Uncut, and it's similarly helmed by Casey Pugh. The team accepted 480 out of 1,500 fan submissions, creating this incredible crowdsourced work. It seems even Lucasfilm loves this piece of fan filmmaking.
