Top image: Fantastic Four.
Josh Trank talks about controversies surrounding the casting of Johnny and Sue Storm as interracial siblings:
"I have a mixed family. When I go home for Christmas, you'll see white people and black people. That's normal to me. I wanted a Storm family that represented 21st century families."
As for Johnny's sister Sue (Kate Mara), she'll be more than just a pretty face. "There have always been two categories of Sue - the slutty secretary version, and this brilliant scientist version. This is a really, really smart Sue, and one that is dignified and has integrity."
Star Wars: The Force Awakens
Oscar Isaac, despite playing a big role in the film, says that he's just as in the dark as most people about the full thing:
No. I'm just as in the dark as everyone else as to how it will all come together. But I do know it will come together beautifully. [Director] J.J. Abrams has so much passion and love for the story. I can't wait to see more of it. That trailer was incredible. Just like the rest of the world I was floored by it.
Oh, the places the Millennium Falcon will (allegedly) go in The Force Awakens. According to Making Star Wars, the hunk of junk will travel between 7 different locations over the course of the film - the sand planet from the teaser, a giant space-freighter, the pub of an alien character named Rose, the Rebel base, an 'Evil Castle', back to the base, and then to scenes shot at Skellig Michael.
Untitled Blizzard Project
Speaking to /Film about cancelled and unannounced projects, Gary Whitta insinuated that he may have worked, or would like to work on something with video game giant Blizzard:
I've always had a great relationship with Blizzard, I absolutely love those guys, so all kinds of opportunities have come up over the years. I wish I could say more but you never know when something might come back around again and then I'd regret having given something away! I will say this – if they ever need someone to help them figure out an Overwatch movie, they know where to find me.
The queue of actors being rumored to play Spider-Man has shuffled forward, and now it's the turn of Josh Hutcherson to discuss if he's playing the webslinger:
"Yeah, of course I'd think about doing it: It's Spider-Man, that'd be really cool," he said during a phone call with Yahoo Movies last week. "There's not been any conversations about that, but who knows what would happen?"

And here's the first picture of Mr. Hinx, as well as a short snippet from Dave Bautista about how Hinx will stand out from your average Bond henchman:
"When I came over to meet Sam [Mendes], I only asked two questions," says the erstwhile Galaxy Guardian. "I asked him if Mr. Hinx was a badass. He said, 'Yes, he's a badass.' I said, 'Well, is Mr. Hinx intelligent?' He said, 'Very.' That's what I like about Mr. Hinx. He's very well-dressed and very well-mannered. I'm not just here to fight people. He has a sense of humour. He definitely knows what a metaphor is."

A few bits of casting both on and off-screen for the pilot: Glen Winter, director of several Flash, Arrow and Smallville, will direct the pilot.
Chyler Leigh will play Alex, Kara's adopted sister who is 'fascinated' by Kara's powers. And David Harewood will play Hank Henshaw. Henshaw is described as 'a one-time CIA agent who now runs the Department of Extra-Normal Operations (DEO), which tracks extraterrestrial threats on the planet Earth' — but DC Comics fans will recognize the name as the alter ego of the comics supervillain Cyborg Superman. (In the New 52 comics, Henshaw is no longer a villain, but he's usually been one of the Man of Steel's foes.) [ Ksite TV]
Agents Of SHIELD
Jeff Bell teases what's ahead for Skye and Raina as they come to grips with their newfound status as Inhumans:
What I will say is that we've been playing the Skye and Raina through the whole thing as parallels, as doppelgangers of one another—two sides of the same coin. Both young women without parents, without a history, both struggling with who they are, both looking to figure out who they are and what they will become. And then who they are and what they will become in both instances are surprising and complicated and so that will absolutely affect their relationship with one another.
And here's a brief video catching you up on the relationship between Bobbi and Lance before the show returns. [ CBR]
Marc Guggenheim and Andrew Kreisberg talk about how Ollie will deal with Ra's Al Ghul's offer to take over the League of Shadows when the show returns:
Marc Guggenheim: It picks up literally 10 seconds before the end of this episode.
Andrew Kreisberg: You want to keep that conversation going. Obviously, Oliver's completely taken aback. He is not expecting that to be the case. It was something that Greg [Berlanti], Marc and I talked about — it was important to have a different villain this year, somebody who was going to be doing something completely different. In season one, we had the incomparable John Barrowman, who had his mission. And obviously, last year, Slade's mission was one of vengeance.
For this year, to have Ra's, who's presented as this giant, malevolent force, but then to basically offer the keys to the kingdom to our hero — it just felt like such a different way to go, and a different relationship for Oliver to have with the villain. What Oliver's reaction to Ra's offer is — the next episode is actually titled "The Offer" — what Nyssa's reaction to it is, what everyone's reaction to it is, makes up the bulk of the next run of episodes.
And here's a new synopsis for the next episode, 'The Offer':
DC COMICS' VILLAIN MURMUR SWEEPS INTO STARLING CITY — Still weighed down by his last meeting with Ra's al Ghul (guest star Matt Nable), Oliver (Stephen Amell) returns home to find a new villain and his crew have started terrorizing Starling City – Michael Amar AKA Murmur (guest star Adrian Glynn McMorran), a man whose mouth has been sewn shut. Meanwhile, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) and Nyssa (guest star Katrina Law) bond over their issues with their fathers and Nyssa make Laurel an offer. Thea (Willa Holland) is forced to come to terms with her father after Oliver brings Malcom (John Barrowman) to the loft to recover, and Lance (Paul Blackthorne) shuts out both Laurel and the Arrow.

"There's not a chance in Hell you're on your feet when this is over."

"We're here. Let's just be here."

The CW have released a synopsis of the Pilot episode:
A NEW SERIES FROM THE BRAINS BEHIND "VERONICA MARS" - Olivia "Liv" Moore (Rose McIver, "Masters of Sex," "Once Upon a Time") was a disciplined, over-achieving medical resident who had her life path completely mapped out... until she is turned into a zombie. Now stuck somewhere between half-alive and undead, Liv loses her drive and ambition. She breaks off her engagement with charming soul mate Major (Robert Buckley, "One Tree Hill"), fearful of infecting him with her condition. Liv transfers her medical residency to the city morgue in order to access the only form of sustenance left available to her - the only thing that allows her to maintain her humanity - brains. There are side effects to Liv's new diet: With each brain Liv consumes, she experiences "visions" - flashes of the corpse's memories - which often provide clues as to how they were killed. Her boss, the brilliant but eccentric Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti (Rahul Kohli), encourages her to embrace this gift and to work with unproven homicide detective, Clive Babineaux, (Malcolm Goodwin, "True Blood"), to help solve these murders. In doing so, Liv finds a measure of peace, and a new sense of purpose in what her "life" has now become.
