A Friendly Mutant Searches for Signs of Life in This Post-Apocalyptic Short Film

Sometime in the wasted future, a four-eyed fellow has only his dog for companionship—which is fine most of the time, but it sure is a lonely existence. When the pup digs up a radio that somehow still works, the duo embarks on a journey to see who or what might be sending a signal.

Jared D. Weiss’ Transmission is plainly drawn but surprisingly expressive (having all those extra eyes helps), and its eerie, static-y soundscape does a lot to set the desolate, “last monster standing” mood.

The FORGET posters and the Night Of The Living Dead clip are good question marks. I would like to see more of this.

Also, the Four-Eyes has cactus arms.
